Water Treatment Research and Production Facility – CH2O

Established in 1977 – the year I was born! – CH₂O specializes in water treatment solutions for various industries, including public institutions, agriculture, and food processing. Their facility in Tumwater, Washington supports both research and production, with areas dedicated to product development and quality control. They wanted us to showcase their laboratory and the manufacturing facility. The idea for the photo shoot was to demonstrate the company’s pioneering spirit and the people and tools that make their work possible.

I aimed to capture the essence of CH₂O’s operations. Photographing the research and development labs were particularly interesting. The company works on original solutions using technologies that had resulted in 16 patents. The adjoining manufacturing area is where CH₂O produces a range of products, from industrial cleaners to horticultural and irrigation solutions. Overall, the shoot was a comprehensive view of CH₂O’s operations.
