One of our fall projects was interior photography of a high-end remodel. The house overlooks Case Inlet in the South Puget Sound, Washington. Designed and built by New Energy Works, a New York firm that crafts custom homes, it’s impressive inside and out.
The house is built around a full timber frame, crafted from reclaimed Douglas firs. The curved soft arc of the house maximizes the view of the Sound. Stand out architectural features such as the timber frame elevator shaft, the main boss pin and the impressive front door convey the craftsmanship.
We were asked to showcase not just the significant architectural features but the feel of being in this house. Here are the highlights of this nine hour photo shoot.
